air perheater
The air preheater is a heat exchange device that utilizes the heat from flue gas at the boiler's tail end to preheat combustion air. Operating in the region with the lowest flue gas temperature, it recovers residual heat from the flue gas, thereby reducing exhaust temperature and enhancing boiler efficiency. Simultaneously, the elevated combustion air temperature facilitates fuel ignition and combustion, minimizing heat loss from incomplete combustion. After passing through the air preheater, the flue gas temperature drops significantly, lowering the intake temperature of the induced draft fan and improving its operational conditions.
Working principle: Flue gas and air alternate flow through the heated surface for heat exchange. When flue gas passes through the corrugated plate heat storage element, the heat is transferred to the corrugated plate for storage. When cold air passes through the corrugated plate, the metal of the corrugated plate transfers the stored heat to the air, raising the air temperature.
The rotary air preheater is mainly composed of the shell, rotor, bearing and lubricating oil system, transmission device, sealing device and cleaning device. The rotary air preheater is compact, small in volume and less in metal consumption, so it is widely used in large capacity boilers.
The rotary air preheater features multiple diameter series, designed and manufactured with state-of-the-art technology to meet the requirements of 200MW-1000MW power units. It excels in high heat transfer efficiency, anti-clogging performance, wear resistance, low air leakage, energy efficiency, and reliability, and has been exported to power plants in India, Vietnam, and other countries.
