1. Overview

The XHT-8 image flame detector is a product of the combination of modern computer technology, DSP digital image processing technology, and combustion science. It adopts new technologies such as optics and digital image processing, and is a new generation of flame detection devices. It uses a temperature resistant quartz optical material and a CCD camera as sensing elements, and collects flame images to a computer for real-time display through an image acquisition card. The image flame detection system is mainly composed of image flame detection probes, image flame detectors, image splitters, and cooling air systems.

It is specially developed for supporting the plasma ignition system and micro-oil ignition system of power station boilers. The purpose is to accurately monitor the combustion status of each plasma or micro-oil ignition pulverized coal burner from the centralized control room monitor in real time by inserting a camera probe into the boiler furnace during the plasma or micro-oil ignition process of the boiler. It is one of the equipment for safe, economic, and reliable operation of the boiler.

2. System characteristics

◆ Using image transmission optical fiber and CCD camera to directly observe the flame in the furnace and burner greatly improves the sensitivity and accuracy of flame detection.

◆ Operators can intuitively and clearly observe the combustion status of each burner and the entire furnace on the large screen CRT in the centralized control room, timely make combustion adjustments, and improve combustion efficiency.
