The Pakistan Thar Coal-Power Integration Project, comprising the Thar Coal Mine and its associated circulating fluidized bed coal-fired power plant, is a priority energy initiative under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. The project consists of two phases: Phase I features the Engro Thar 2×330MW circulating fluidized bed power plant, while Phase II includes the TharNova 1×330MW circulating fluidized bed power plant and the TEL 1×330MW circulating fluidized bed power plant.

Jiangsu Haokun Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd. supplied boiler ignition devices for the Taer Coal-Fired Power Station. The ignition gun serves as the terminal actuator component of high-energy ignition systems, working in conjunction with high-energy igniters and ignition cables to reliably ignite fuels such as light diesel and heavy oil under high-temperature and harsh operating conditions.
The image below shows the ignition gun spare parts recently delivered to the Tare Coal-fired Power Plant.

The successful implementation of the Pakistan Tal project cluster has set a benchmark for local energy development in Pakistan, provided innovative approaches to energy security, and contributed significantly to the successful construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
